Baku, Azerbaijan, May 23, Trend: Iraq sent a complaint to the court of arbitration over the resumption of Turkey's oil exports from northern Iraq, Turkish Hurriyet newspaper said May 23.

Iraqi Oil Ministry made a statement saying that a lawsuit was filed in the court of arbitration at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) against Turkey and BOTAS.

The lawsuit says Turkey resumed oil exports from northern Iraq via the port of Ceyhan, coordinating this only with the regional government, but without any approval from the Iraqi Oil Ministry.

Thus was violated the Iraq-Turkey pipeline agreement.

Turkish side has not received any notifications, according to the Agence France-Presse.

Earlier, Turkey's Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz announced about the resumption of Iraqi oil exports via the port of Ceyhan.
