Tbilisi, Georgia, Jan.11  By Nana Kirtzkhalia -Trend: A delegation of Tbilisi Sakrebulo (city council) headed by its chairman Irakli Shihiashvili has arrived in China for a visit on Jan.11. The visit will last until Jan. 15.

As Tbilisi Sakrebulo told Trend, during the visit the sides will sign an agreement on twinning and cooperation between Tbilisi and the largest industrial city of China, Guangzhou.

The Sakrebulo stressed that the Georgian delegation will also meet with representatives of the executive and legislative powers of the city and province.

The sides will discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation in economy, trade, culture, sports and tourism.

As the Sakrebulo stressed, the members of the Georgian delegation intend to invite the Chinese side to hold economic and trade exhibitions in Tbilisi and Guangzhou, which will be aimed at the growth of export turnover.
