Georgia, Tbilisi, July 11 / Trend N. Kirtzkhalia / Georgia's State Minister for Reintegration Eka Tkeshelashvili has today met with OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier in Batumi.

The sides discussed Georgia's security challenges, the situation in the separatist regions and the course of events envisaged by the "strategy of involvement" and the Georgian leadership's action plan.

The situation in the occupied regions and the Georgian leadership's important steps in involvement of people living in Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali region were discussed, the Minister said at the end of the meeting.

"Today, we strive for the individuals living in the occupied territories to feel the development available in Georgia," she said. "There are more opportunities for employment in Georgia. The health sector is developing in Georgia. A free, safe country is developing."

OSCE Secretary General stressed that the people residing in the occupied regions must integrate with the Georgian people.

Military actions were launched in the Georgian territory, South Ossetia on Aug.8 in 2008. Later the Russian troops occupied the Tskhinvali city and drove the Georgian military back. Russia recognized the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia in late August. In response, Tbilisi broke off diplomatic relations with Moscow and announced two unrecognized republics as the occupied territories. yes Trend
