European MPs call on Georgian government and opposition to work together

Members of the European Parliament call on the Georgian government and the opposition to lower their rhetoric and start cooperating for the benefit of the country, member of the delegation of the European Parliament from the Progressive Alliance of Social Democrats Libor Rouchek stated at a final press conference on Wednesday.

He noted the importance of the change of power in Georgia through peaceful and democratic means.

According to Rouchek, during the meetings held in Georgia, the vast majority of the population expressed a strong commitment to the country's integration into the European Union.

According to him, in this respect there is full agreement in the country and the upcoming Vilnius summit of the Eastern Partnership is very important for the implementation of this goal.
